I am Nancy's new husband. Also, before our journey as a couple began, we were colleagues and friends. I had spinal fusion surgery over five years ago, and less than one year after that had an anaphylactic allergic reaction to a cat and subsequently began immunotherapy. I also had vast allergies and symptoms. I asked Nancy for advice on how to naturally tackle the recovery of my bodies musculature, and somehow not be so ill with allergies constantly. That was three years ago, and it took me another year to really grasp and act on what she said I should do. I finally listened. Now, I am off immunotherapy- have recently spent over five hours in the same home in which I had my anaphylactic attack! Let me give you a little of my background. I am soon to be 65 years old. I was a Registered Nurse for 30 years in San Francisco, CA. In 1997 I had an accident while riding on a bus resulting in spinal surgery and leaving me with severe nerve damage and mobility issues. In 2004 I had a triple bypass and Aortic valve replacement. When I moved here from California in 2001 I was taking 18 prescription medications for various medical problems. Being completely unfamiliar with the natural lifestyle, I followed my training and felt I was doing what was right for my health. I met Nancy Long at Harmony Farms and little did I know that my life and everything I thought about health was about to change. My re-education started slowly. Nancy put me on supplements, a diet and moderate exercise. Following my protocol, to my amazement I had lost 25 pounds, some mobility was returning and I was feeling better. Many of my medical issues were also being resolved. After 10 months I am taking only one prescription drug, still working to lose weight and feeling healthier than I have in years. Nancy works closely with me to educate me about the natural lifestyle and is showing me how I can take responsibility for my own health.
